Be All You Can Be

From May 2016

Why accept mediocrity, when excellence is an option?

I like the Army slogan - 'Be All You Can Be.'  I had a conversation with someone recently about 'Why accept mediocrity, when excellence is an option?'

Dr. Ivan Misner's recent SuccessNet article talks about all the 'Rules' of BNI.  Who makes the Rules?  With May kicking off the upcoming Leadership Transition is a good time to discuss and understand why BNI works.  I will be the first to say that BNI is not for everyone.  As the saying going, 'You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink.'

I suggest to those that want 'Excellence' in their Chapter to step up and get involved.  What is working, What is not, and Why Not?  Are areas that need to be improved?  Added?  Improved?  Another saying I like is 'It it's to be, It's up to Me.'  Be a 'Change Agent' - Let your current Leadership Team know you want to help to make your chapter 'All It Can Be.'

Click here to read Dr. Misner's article in it's entirety.  There is also a cute video to watch about training.  (Be sure and yourself CEU credit when completed).
